Research, Investigations & Activities

Picture
At any one time, one or more sub-groups usually exist within CPSG for the purpose of carrying out practical activities. These activities tend to fall into the following categories:

  • experimental research,
  • psychic development,
  • applications of psychic abilities,
  • investigations into spontaneous psychic phenomena.

Over the years, there have been sub-groups for: UFOs, Alternative Medicine, Dowsing, Astral Projection, Psychic Phenomena, Psi under Hypnosis, PK (Table Tilting), Ouija, Healing, and Spirit Counselling .
Membership of Sub-Groups

Membership of a sub-group is open to any full member of the main group, although places can sometimes be limited depending on the nature of the group. In these circumstances there may be a waiting list of interested members.

Workshop Evenings

This sub-group will be organising evenings of practical tuition on the third Friday of the month in the Walton Room of Chesterfield Community Centre.   The first few evenings in 2012 will constitute a Reiki 1 course.   Thereafter other subjects will be covered as announced at the main meetings.   Subscription £1.   Open to members only and booking in advance is necessary.

Sub-group Leader:  Oriel Blissett

Development Sub-Group

A development circle is held on the last Friday of each month at Chesterfield Community Centre, in order to give members the opportunity to start to develop their psychical / mediumistic abilities. After the circle, healing is available. Subscription 50p. Sub-group leader: Oriel Blissett.

Spirit Rescue Circle

A Spirit Rescue Circle, comprised of members of CPSG, is also currently running.  Places are strictly limited but interested parties should contact Cherill Royce-Dexter for more information.
